Hi. I’m Stephen Costello, a 25 year old graphic designer born and bread in Belfast, Northern Ireland. I specialising in Print and Web design, I creating clean, unique, and functional websites built with web standards. For the 12 months I’ve been working at Vision Solutions NI as a graphic designer. Our aim is to product excellent design and printing services to Churches and Christian organisations in the UK.
Design isn’t just a job to me, it’s a hobby something I really enjoy. Before joining Vision Solutions in 2008 I worked as a freelance designer. My portfolio of clients includes, churches, ministries, and nation wide businesses and conferences.
In June 2007 I graduated from University of Ulster – Jordanstown where I studied ‘Interactive Multimedia Design’ (IMD). Uni was a strange time for me, I spent first year in bed, second year in front of the tv, third year on placement, and final year glued to Photoshop. Overall I had a fantastic Uni experience and made a few good friends along the way. Surprisingly IMD was not my first choice of course after leaving school. I had originally planned to study Theology at ‘Queens University Belfast’ however that door was closed. Looking back I think it was probably the best thing that could have happened.
Although I love design it is not my number one passion in my life. I am a Christ Follower (Christian) as you may have guessed from my portfolio or blog. I attend ECC Belfast where I am a lead worshiper and youth leader. Leading worship is an amazing honour and something I feel incredibly privileged to do. Along with leading at ECC, I lead worship at 4Him Mens Ministry. This is Northern Ireland’s newest and probably most exciting Mens Fellowship.
